A Little Bit More About Me

AA ART ATELIER IS MY SIGNATURE

Angel's Art Atelier intends to show an aspect of my life.

Being a visual artist is only one of the interests satisfying my existence. I also write fiction and poetry. Currently, I'm revisiting one influential feminist writer: Clarice Lispector. Her quote "Do you ever suddenly find it strange to be yourself?" is recurrent whenever I complete a piece of art, a poem, or any type of writing.

Various Projects

THREE DIMENSIONAL

Other works I have done include  three-dimensional representative abstract forms. These are some prototypes.

BUBBLES, AN UNINTENDED PROJECT
Bubbles (oil pastel on paper, 5 x 7 in. unframed) originated by serendipity. A friend saw my doodles and asked how much. I had no idea how to respond, it was too premature for the basic idea. Once they were matted and framed, my friend fell in love with them feeling impelled to acquire them. I made a few more that easily found new homes, in offices, children's rooms, and others. Art lovers also request suggestions from the artist to display the art. Their genuine interest not only satisfies the artist, but also shows their intend to give your art a preponderant place in their personal space. The 3rd image, shows a hanging display of this series.

Who Am I?

I AM AN ARTIST

My name is Angela, as an artist, I respect versatility. I can say that I have been an international artist, working in many locations, including seven states in the US. My work is hard to identify due to the variety of themes, techniques and materials I have used. You judge!

A Few of My Many Projects

WORKING WITH ALL AGES

I don't think I can count the projects I have created as a teaching artist. Some have been using traditional techniques others have also been multimedia. Being an experimentalist artist, I do not set limits for my work. Here are some examples.
